ABOUT ME
Hi!!
I'm Claire, a Snoqualmie Valley senior portrait photographer. I specialize in senior pictures but offer a variety of session types and also shoot in neighboring areas such as Bellevue and Seattle!
I grew up in Snoqualmie, Washington and am a Mount Si High School graduate myself, so have spent years finding the best photo spots in the area! I also love to travel and am open to shooting your session elsewhere.
My first camera was given to me as I entered 9th grade, and less than a year later I knew I needed to invest in a portrait lens. I truly admire the beauty of the world/nature as well as the beauty of people, thus photography is perfect for me as it lets me create art out of these two things. I'm a huge believer in preserving memories, so I love knowing that I provide clients with pictures that'll be cherished for a lifetime!
I specialize in individual portraits, particularly senior pictures and creative portrait photography. There's just something about focusing on one person that is so special to me! I'm also happy to shoot branding sessions, LOVE working with couples, and occasionally shoot family sessions as well. Feel free to inquire about whatever your vision is, but please note I don't shoot weddings or events.
I would say my style is a mix of modern yet natural- I love focusing on colors and fun backgrounds while still allowing the subject to look and feel natural. I like for my photos to be a vibe rather than just a person in front of a background. Each image is truly a work of art to me.
Many people are often worried that they'll be awkward in front of the camera or not know what to do, but I will know exactly how to pose you- you won't have to worry! It is my goal to make you feel comfortable and confident in yourself.

SENIOR PICTURES
Senior pictures are my specialty! I love seeing everyone's excitement for the upcoming year and being able to help style and pick locations that fit them. This is such an important and fun time in one's life and I love that I get to be a part of it. Senior pictures typically consist of multiple locations and outfits and you get to choose the photos you want! I'll be sure to take photos from all distances so you'll have the headshots you need as well as a variety of others. I also offer grad cap & gown graduation sessions for seniors in the springtime.
PORTRAIT SESSIONS
Portrait sessions include anything from headshots, branding photos, maternity shoots, to friend shoots. I also offer creative shoots, where I will accept models for a discounted or free shoot if there is an idea I want to shoot. The possibilities are endless with these sessions! I am open to whatever ideas you may have and love shooting for any occasion (or none at all). During my less busy seasons (November through March) I have more of availability for creative sessions.
FRIENDS AND COUPLES
I totally understand that you may feel more comfortable doing a shoot with a friend, and welcome it! And what's more fun than getting some photos done with your significant other? I love these types of photos because they are something you'll always be able to look back on to remember a certain time in your life. Whether it's a whole group of people or a friend/partner I would love to take these photos for you.
FAMILY PORTRAITS
I love family photos because they allow me to capture the important moments in time that tend to just fly by. I believe that people cherish these types of photos most. I strive to capture your family at their best and if you book your family photo session with me you'll have a variety of images to choose from. And if you have little kids I'll be sure to get some candid individual shots of them as well.
Please note that I'm slowly moving away from capturing general family portraits as I work on building my brand in other niches. Though I do have a special love for "Mommy and Me" photos or other intimate-style photos between small groups of people.
All of my high-school senior sessions offer the option of taking family photos during our time together.
